Gregory Sumida started his professional art career as a teen in California. His passions for painting and history have driven Sumida to create unique works in gouache, oil and egg tempera. A true renaissance man, Sumida makes his own paint and relies solely on his personal collection of artifacts and extensive library for reference. He did participate in the Eiteljorg Museum's "New West Art Show" in September 2002. Sumida is listed in the following publications: Art of the West, Jan. '99, American Biographical Institute, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in the West, Who's Who in America, Outstanding People of the 20th Century, Who's Who in the 21st Century and 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 20th Century. Sumida was also nominated by the United Cultural Convention U.S.A. for the 2002 Nobel Prize for the Outstanding Achievement & Contributions to Humanity.
