Jason's love of western life and art both began in his childhood. He grew up on a small farm in southern Idaho spending his time either riding, training, or drawing horses. His western roots and passion for art influenced his decision to pursue an art profession. He entered Utah State University where he majored in art education and illustration. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1995 and his Masters of Fine Art in 1998. His western roots and passion for art influenced his decision to pursue an art profession. He entered Utah State University where he majored in art education and illustration. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1995 and his Masters of Fine Art in 1998. Jason has been featured in several national publications including Southwest Art, Western Horseman, Cowboys & Indians and Art of the West. Jason has been honored by winning the Arts for the Parks Grand Prize in 1997, and numerous other awards. Jason currently lives in northern Utah with his wife and three children. Back to Top
